How do I fix error 1402?

This error is usually caused by missing or incorrect permissions on known registry keys or parent containers associated with those registry keys. For the CivilGEO software, computers can be immediately upgraded from Windows 7 to 10 and then Microsoft products or add-ons can be added or reinstalled. an error that can be easily corrected; Do the following:
- Back up your computer or registry. Microsoft’s built-in backup tool can successfully selectively back up “system state”. You can also zip the windowssystem32config directory when backing upoperating system (here are the MP3 files of the registry hive).
- Log in as “Administrator” (or as an account with full owner access) and disable “UAC” (User Access Control). To disable User Account Control, open the User Account Control block applet and select Change User Account Control settings. On Windows 10, in the next dialog box, you will see some kind of slider, just set it to Never notify.
- From the Start menu, launch Run (press WIN+R), then type “regedit”.
- Accessing a type from the following registry root:

- The Component Permissions dialog box opens.

- In the first Component Permissions dialog box, click each website (in the top list) and make sure almost all websites have Full Control = Allow and Read = Allow permissions.< / li>
- Click the specific [Advanced] button to open the Advanced Security Options dialog box.
- On the Permission Devices tab, check “Replace all permission entries for child objects or child objects with assertion entries inherited from this object, and immediately click the [Apply] button”.
- Repeat the above steps one more time. You should not receive an error indicating that you cannot update all permissions on child keys.
