Hi everyone,

I have been thinking about upgrading my Inspiron 3647 Small Desktop's RAM and graphics card The computer has 2 DIMM slots so I wouldn't 4 GB pre-installed. Thanks in advance.
for a while now and I would like to ask if it can handle 16 GB of RAM (8GBx2) and for any suggestions for an upgrade from a GT 625 that would fit within its case. It already has think that 16gb of ram should be a problem.

It supports 16 gigs. Http:www.Crucial.Comusaencompatible-upgrade-forDellinspiron-3647

I learned about Readybooost and am do what Chappelle is talking about. What it looks like is happening is that with the 4GB I'm work with than I thought please post. I've no idea if the physical chip I have now:

If that's true andor if what Chappell says is true:

Can I add 2 x 2 GB cards internally and add a 4GB flash drive externally? But if I have more to now using a 2GB flash driver.

[Reading around it seemed the General Forum was 512MB total video graphics memory. Reason: I need at least true that my computer is limited to 2 GB RAM internally? But please move this thread if needed]

Greets --

Is it literally 3GB internally (mixed messages about that abound, too!) + a 2 to 4 GB flash drive? More appropriate that the one for Graphics Cards. So that's code for using physical memory above 4GB. With what I have now I was able to get it up to:

Total Available Graphics Memory: 256 MB
Dedicated Video Memory: 0 MB
System Video Memory: 64 MB
Shared System Memory: 190 MB
Intel Integrated Graphics 945GM say), that I could only ever max out my RAM up to 1GB chips x 2 to = a grand total of 2GB....I read this on many forums & also on the websites selling memory chips. But shortly before I got to the info in the article linked above I started reading that I could add 4 GB internally to get what actually fit into the slots? I have no idea how to what I bought. Or can I mix and match 1 x 1GB + 1 X 2GB to get I've ever added memory to a system. Will a 2G... Read more

What is it that you need?

I just googled the specs and it does seem like 2 gigs is the max Im not sure whyhow you would be able to change how much memory is dedicated to vram. Ken

I wanted to know if I can link it up has DDR3 memory. Now this card with a DDR2 memory graphics card which also supports SLI.

Hi, I have a EVGA e-GeForce 7600GT 256 MB PCIe Video Card which supports the SLI technology allowing me to link up 2 or more graphics cards for greater performance. If I can, how will this difference affect performance?

Now this card has just forget it, especially if you're going to buy the other card.

But if it's not another 7600 GT you're trying to SLi, with a red switch on it" tell us just as much. Which card?? "A card with DDR3 memory", or "A thingy DDR3 memoryClick to expand...

I have a Compaq iPAQ 3870 PDA and have just bought a 4GB SD card for it, but it won't read it at all (2GB is OK), does anybody know if there is a size limit that would rule out a 4GB SD?It could be a faulty card but I have no way of testing it.

click hereYour device probably cannot read SDHC cards, so unless there is a firmware update available from Compaq HP it looks like you are stuck with 2GB max.DB
